We stopped here on the way to Monterey to get some breakfast. The food was yum and served quickly. Portions are big. We shared one egg Benedict and half portion of biscuit and gravy. Atmosphere is really nice. Coffee was also tasty and refillable. Ladies serving us were friendly. I would come back again!

Went for Saturday breakfast at 10am and got seated right away. Food was great and service was quick. We got the pork chop platter and the linguica omellette with side of pancake and French toast. We recommend this Gilroy gem and we will be back.
The service was excellent; it truly felt personalized. The food was fantastic, and the ladies made it feel just like home….. they welcome you when you come in and leave even the kitchen staff. Definitely will be back.
First time at this place and we loved it. The greeting and service from the people who work here and we met the owner too . I really enjoyed my chilaquiles they were so good with the mild sauce . Now let me say the Hawaiian pancakes were something else . Never have I tasted anything like these . I’m actually not even a pancake person . 100% recommend . I will be back here next time I am I Gilroy .

This small, family-owned gem has been part of the community for decades, and it’s easy to see why locals and visitors alike keep coming back. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like stepping into a friend’s kitchen. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, treating every guest like family. Even on busy weekends, they go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. The food? Simply phenomenal. The portions are huge, and everything is cooked to perfection. Their omelettes are fluffy and packed with flavor, and the breakfast potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The biscuits and gravy are some of the best I’ve ever had—rich, hearty, and made from scratch. Some of my personal favorites: The Santa Fe Omelette – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The pancakes – light, fluffy, and big enough to share (but you’ll probably want to keep them all for yourself). The Kitchen Sink Skillet – it’s got everything and is perfect if you’re extra hungry. The only thing I would say i wish they had air conditioning it was a little hot in there.
My dad’s absolute favorite breakfast spot! He was a massive fan of the kitchen sink, and we all delighted in sharing it—though we only tackled half! His mornings were a perfect blend of delicious breakfast and strong black coffee. This place will forever be etched in my memory, representing his love for family and those cherished breakfast moments spent together! I wonder if the staff even realize they’re a part of his happy place! Today, April 1st, 2025, we stopped by on the way to his viewing after he passed!
First time at OD’s and had the BEST SERVICE & BREAKFAST. Louis was one of the people helping us (I didn’t catch the name of the lovely woman who served us) and both him and our waitress are kind and hardworking people! Very nostalgic and cozy feelings in OD’s Kitchen. I felt like I was teleported to 2010 in the best way :) keep up the amazing work and I hope this family business stays open for as long as possible. Top 3 new restaurants of 2025 and well-deserved.
Down in Gilroy for a quick stop and then lunch, and everyone I spoke to about where to get the best salmon sandwich agreed that OD's Kitchen puts out the best sandwiches in town...Especially the salmon sandwich! So, that's exactly what I got, and it was Spectacular! 5 stars all day long
